When One Door Shuts, Another Opens
It would not come as a shock to hear you’ve given up. I know what that means. It is okay.
Some refer to it as cowardice. Others call it weakness. Some call it a lack of substance, absence of resilience.
I call it tact. I call it an investment. I call it bravery. I call it adaptive, agile.
While it is true that only the foolish let go too soon, I’d argue it is equivocally foolish to cling to that which is not meant for you.
It takes a discerning eye. It takes self-awareness.
Underestimate your strengths, and you shall never progress. Underestimate your limits, and you will never recover.
Both are as good as death.
Humans cannot exist in stagnation. Our malleability has shifted the entire atmosphere. Our minds have wrought the unimaginable.
Do I mean that destructively, negatively? Do I mean that constructively, positively?
Close the door behind you and find out.
